A small, family farm in Wisconsin

Sheep

lee resize 1There’ve been sheep on this farm for years and years.  They act as grass mowers and do a great job of keeping the grass and weeds down in the farm yard.  We keep them off of our lawns though, to prevent piles of the inevitable by-product.  We keep a few ewes, usually under 15.  They’re bred to lamb in the spring, after they’ve been sheared.  When the lambs reach market weight they’re sold.
